Centennial Lakes Little League

Welcome to the 2024 Coach Registration with the Centennial Lakes Little League.

Our Online Coach registration is now open. If you would like to volunteer as a coach or assistant, please register online. You will receive confirmation of your registration. The selection process will happen the first part of February. Please check back at a later time for updated information.

This registration session will allow you to sign consents, and complete contact information.

ALL COACHES MUST COMPLETE THIS REGISTRATION.  Do NOT leave this registration to complete any other part of your coaching requirements until finished. It allows us to get you into our system.  If you break from this to complete any other part of the process you could lose you completed information and your coaching application will be delayed.

10U-18U Softball will do this through MN Softball at a later time

All BASEBALL and 8U Softball coaches must also complete a background check every year.  The link to the background check should be in the coaches resources tab and is required IN ADDITION to this registration.  

This coach registration is simply to get your contact information so that we can keep in touch with you from the league office.  It is required for every coach.  But be aware that you also need to complete a criminal background check as required by Little League International.

Additionally, we as a little league do not retain your background check information on our system.  It is kept with JDP with all appropriate security.

10U-18U Softball will complete training at a later time through MN Softball.

For the 2024 season all coaches must complete concussion training or have completed it in 2023 or 2024.

This is required by Minnesota Law.  You will be required to complete the training and submit proof of doing so through our "2024 Concussion Proof of Certification."  The link to the training can be found in the coaches resources tab.  Be prepared to spend 40 minutes on it.  You may stop and continue at any other time.  Full instructions will be at the end of this registration and also in the 2024 Concussion Proof of Certification registration.

Team Formation

• This year we are no assistant coaches prior to team formation.  If you want a specific assistant coach you will have to draft their child fair and square.  This means if you don't have first pick, that player is available to another team.  The reason is because too many families are grouping together, and often the players are in the top skill levels making one team much better than the rest.
• We expect you to draft a competitive team.  We realize there are friendships you want to keep together but try to keep a competitive team as your top priority.
• All assistant coaches, upon being named by head coaches, must register here as you are doing along with all the other registration requirements you will be completing.
